Graphic Communications

Program Overview

Students in the program will learn Introduction to Graphic Communications, followed by OSHA-10 general industry/certification. They will learn Adobe Illustrator with units on Design, Typography and Color Theory. Hands-on projects will include newsletter design as well as live work projects from customers to promote creative skills.

In the Lab students will complete hands-on projects with vinyl cutting and application as well as screen printing. This program uses professional/college level technical manuals and textbooks.

This industry is constantly changing/evolving, and we are always upgrading software and equipment to keep up with the trends. Our students often have access to better technology than some of our industry partners or have a working knowledge of where our partners are and where they are going with technology.
