Program Overview

Cooks in the kitchen

The Culinary Arts Program focuses on basic cooking principles and an introduction to professional cooking. Our program is certified by the American Culinary Federation (ACF) and includes hands-on education in food preparation, while developing professionalism and proficiency in cooking, baking, cost control, nutrition, sanitation, and food marketing. Students participate in demonstrations and group activities to supplement their development of technical skills and knowledge.

Students will need to be problem solvers, willing to work, and able to handle themselves socially in a mature and productive manner. Successful students display a balance of high creativity and self-discipline.
